USAGE LICENSING / USAGE FEE

All imagery is offered under rights-managed licensing. Commercial, advertising, and promotional use requires a separate license, with fees determined using an image usage calculator and finalized through a negotiated agreement. Licensing factors may include usage type, distribution channels, media format, geographic territory, duration per year, and exclusivity. Usage fees grant the licensed right to use the image as specified; they do not transfer copyright, which remains with the image creator.

THE FINE ART OF COMMISSIONED PHOTOGRAPHY

All fine art commissioned photography projects are structured across three components: photography fee (project rate), production costs, and final fine art deliverables. Located along the shores and islands of Ohio, available for projects nationwide.

The commissioned fine art photography service provides a collaborative opportunity to work with a skilled artist to create one-of-a-kind imagery precisely aligned with the client's vision and needs. This tradition follows in the footsteps of history's greatest artists — just as Leonardo da Vinci was commissioned to paint The Last Supper, and Michelangelo adorned the Sistine Chapel ceiling at Pope Julius II's request.

Traditionally, fine art commissions serve non-commercial purposes: capturing architectural and institutional achievements, communicating a religious, educational, or organizational story, and enhancing internal branding for corporate or hospitality environments. The work is created for the client, serving their legacy, collection, space, or identity. Simply put, it offers bespoke wall art tailored to the space, reflecting the essence of a company or organization.

When commissioning fine art photography, the client is not purchasing standard photography services or mass-produced prints — they are engaging in the time-honored tradition of patronage, supporting a working artist while acquiring imagery created exclusively for their purpose. This is artwork made for the client, not sold to them. All fine art commissioned projects are tailored to scope, schedule, and non-commercial usage.
